Type it, or start from your own template

Medicines with dose and duration, lab tests, the diagnosis and advice, written on screen. The prescriptions a doctor writes often are saved as their own reusable templates.

Tests and diagnoses, one tap away

Lab tests and diagnoses a doctor uses repeatedly are remembered and offered first. A routine prescription takes seconds; an unusual one is still fully typed by the doctor.

Your letterhead, your layout

The letterhead designer sets how the clinic’s prescription looks — name, logo, registration details — and every signed PDF uses it.

Signed, stamped, versioned

Each doctor uploads their signature once. Signing produces a PDF with that signature and a tamper-check stamp. A signed prescription cannot be edited; a correction creates a new version, and the history is kept.

Linked to the patient record

Every prescription stays with the visit and the patient, next to earlier visits and uploaded reports, so the next consultation starts from what was prescribed last time.

Dictate and review with the AI Pack

Speak the prescription and review clinical suggestions inside the pad. The doctor accepts or rejects every item before anything is signed. Optional, per doctor.

What is digital prescription software?

Digital prescription software (e-prescription software) lets a doctor write, sign and store prescriptions electronically instead of by hand. For the patient it means a legible prescription on the clinic’s letterhead; for the doctor it means templates for what they write every day, a record of what was prescribed when, and a prescription that cannot be altered after signing.

Treatlly’s Digital Prescriptions add-on does this inside the clinic’s own Treatlly workspace, for in-clinic and video consultations alike, at ₹499 a month for the clinic. It is written by the doctor, on the doctor’s own templates; Treatlly does not prescribe.

From the chair to the signed PDF

  • ✓Switch it on from Billing → View plans. Each doctor uploads their signature before their first signing.
  • ✓Open the patient from today’s list, with their notes, earlier visits and reports.
  • ✓Write the prescription — from scratch, or from a template the doctor made — with medicines, lab tests, diagnosis and advice.
  • ✓Preview it on the clinic letterhead, then sign. The PDF carries the signature and a tamper-check stamp and is saved to the patient’s record.
  • ✓Correct it, if needed, by issuing a new version. The original stays on record.

Templates, letterheads and corrections

Templates belong to the doctor who made them. A template is a starting point, not a shortcut past the doctor: every item on it can be changed before signing.

The letterhead is set once for the clinic in the letterhead designer and used on every prescription and receipt.

Corrections never overwrite a signed prescription. A new version is issued, and the version history shows what changed.

Prescriptions written during a video consultation work the same way, from the pad beside the call.

Frequently asked questions

Is a prescription signed in Treatlly valid?+

Treatlly produces a PDF that carries the doctor’s uploaded signature, the clinic’s letterhead and a tamper-check stamp, and keeps every version on record. Whether a given format meets a particular pharmacy’s, insurer’s or regulator’s requirement is for the doctor to confirm for their practice.

Can I use my own prescription template?+

Yes. Each doctor builds their own templates from the prescriptions they write often, and the letterhead designer sets the clinic’s layout. Every item on a template can be changed before signing.

Can a signed prescription be corrected?+

Not by editing it. A correction is issued as a new version; the original stays on the record and the history shows what changed.

Does the patient get a copy?+

The signed PDF is saved to the patient’s visit record in the clinic’s Treatlly workspace, where the clinic can print or share it, and it stays with the patient’s record for the next visit.

Do I need the AI Pack to write prescriptions?+

No. Digital Prescriptions works on its own. The AI Pack (₹1,999 per doctor per month) adds voice dictation and clinical suggestions inside the same pad and requires Digital Prescriptions.

Does it work for video consultations?+

Yes. The prescription pad sits beside the video call, with the same templates and letterhead as an in-clinic visit.
