What is clinic management software?
Clinic management software is the system a clinic runs its day on: appointments, the queue at the front desk, patient records, prescriptions, fee collection and the clinic’s own website or app. Doctors in India also call it OPD management software, practice management software, doctor consultation software or simply clinic software — the names overlap, and the question underneath is the same: can one system take the daily chaos off the counter and off the doctor’s desk?

What it is not
Treatlly is deliberately an outpatient system. It does not run inpatient wards, operation theatres, a pharmacy counter or a laboratory. A hospital that needs those modules needs a hospital information system; a clinic that needs its OPD to run calmly needs Treatlly.

Choosing clinic management software in India: what to check
- ✓Flat fee or commission? A monthly subscription costs the same whether you see 20 patients or 200. Per-booking charges grow with your practice.
- ✓Does it protect walk-in seats? Many Indian OPDs live on walk-ins. If online bookings can take every seat, the counter has nothing left to give.
- ✓Whose booking page is it? A page on your own name and domain keeps the patient relationship with you.
- ✓UPI and SMS out of the box? Indian patients expect to pay by UPI and to get an SMS confirmation. Check whether the gateway and SMS templates are set up for you.
- ✓Does it work from a phone? Doctors and reception should be able to run the day from a staff app, not only a desktop.
- ✓Where is the data? Look for storage in India and alignment with the DPDP Act, 2023.
- ✓Is the price published? If you cannot see the price, you cannot compare it.

What does clinic management software do?+
It runs the clinic’s day in one system: appointments and walk-ins, the front-desk queue, patient records, prescriptions, fee collection and the clinic’s own booking website or app. Treatlly covers all of these for OPD clinics in India on one monthly subscription.
Is Treatlly a hospital management system?+
No. Treatlly is outpatient (OPD) software. It has no inpatient, ward, operation-theatre, pharmacy or laboratory module. Hospitals with those needs should look at a full hospital information system; Treatlly can still run their OPD booking and queue.
Does it work for a multi-doctor clinic or a polyclinic?+
Yes. Each doctor has their own schedule, fees and seat limits; the Pro plan includes four doctors at one location and more can be added. Growth covers one doctor across two branches, and larger groups are quoted as a hospital plan.
Do I need to install anything?+
No. The clinic dashboard runs in a browser. Doctors and reception can also use the Treatlly staff app on iOS and Android, and patients book from any phone browser — a branded patient app is optional.
How long does it take to set up?+
Sign-up takes a few minutes with your mobile number and an SMS OTP. Getting each doctor’s schedule, fees and walk-in seats right is the part that needs your attention; most clinics are taking bookings the same day, and we can walk you through it.
Where is patient data stored?+
Personal and health data is stored on servers in India, aligned with the DPDP Act, 2023 and the SPDI Rules. Access is per person, by role.
